A small team with a long view.

We stay close to the work. That means making clear choices, documenting what matters and taking responsibility for the systems we build and operate.

Values in practice.

We are part of Nimble Profit and share its focus on adaptability, long-term relationships, accountability, learning and impact. On our small team, those values shape how we make commitments, document systems and consider AI.

A clear no over a vague yes.

We name constraints early and take responsibility for the commitments we make.

The trade-off: It means turning down appealing ideas when the conditions for doing them well are not there.

Documented systems over heroics.

We document decisions so another capable person can maintain and improve what we build.

The trade-off: Documentation and review take time up front, even when one person could solve today's problem faster.

AI in the work, not on the label.

We want AI tools to be part of a careful development process with checks, review and human judgment.

The trade-off: That means doing the less glamorous work of testing and evaluating tools instead of treating generated output as finished work.

How we are set up.

Social Ad Signals has operated since 2019 and is based in Victoria, BC. The team works remotely, with a Pacific-time working day and collaboration across North America and Asia-Pacific.

The people closest to the work make the decisions. We want fewer layers between a real problem and the person who can solve it.
